Avian Puma DXL 

The Dynamic Cross Link system, described in this Youtube Video, combined with the winglets, make for a lovely handling glider, easy to turn, easy to fly straight and with fantastic performance. Since this was only introduced this year then it'll be a while until they are coming on the 2nd hand market, so this ex-demo glider (which I flew myself as my own glider) is the first Puma-DXL to become available 2nd hand!

This glider was originally built in spring 2022 as a Puma. It has flown around 120 hours and in 2026 was fully stripped down and rebuilt from scratch to the new -DXL specification and has flown less than 5 hours since. This is a very high specification glider, with Speed Control frame (including carbon base bar), all laminate options on the sail (upper, lower and Liteskin trailing edge), red coloured highlights and batten pockets, a keel pocket fairing and winglets, as well as the carbon outer leading edges and sprogs and carrier wing folding that are now standard on Pumas. These options would make this glider over £9,000 if new. This is currently with a full length (long) bag, but a carrier wing bag and packing could be purchased.

This is a 13.7m (including winglets) size, so is ideal for pilots of 75-105kg clip in weight (so pilot weight around 10-15kg less depending on your harness).
