Have been meaning to email you for some time. I have been flying my Rio 2 17. Iit is excellent and handles really well under power. The Rio lands so easy. Take off in nil wind conditions isn't too difficult for a novice either. Alan.
Had a nice day on East Hill up in Northumberland with Ron Freeman for my first flight on the Rio Grand. Wind was around 20mph mostly smooth with the odd lump and bump coming through, Had 40mins flight which is a record for me and finished it off with a top landing, I need to trim it forward a little but didn't get the chance for a second flip as we got rained off but I am very impressed with the glider along with Ron who had a flip first. There was a lot of intrest in it on the hill also.
